Proscend proudly introduces the new 5037B G.SHDSL.Bis 4-Wire TDM Modem with 4 DTE interfaces (T1/E1,V.35 & Ethernet)
HSINCHU-TAIWAN, January 7, 2009 – Proscend Communications Inc. today announces the addition of 5037B G.SHDSL.bis 4 Wire TDM Modem with 4 DTE interfaces to the 5000B G.SHDSL.bis NTU Series. Supporting four DTE interfaces (E1/T1, V.35 & Ethernet) in one device, 5037B is designed to provide a flexible and efficient solution to handle various connections.
The following DTE combinations are available:
- T1 Only, E1 Only, V.35 Only, LAN Only
- E1 + V.35
- T1 + V.35
- E1 + LAN
- T1 + LAN
Complying with TCPAM32, 5037B G.SHDSL.bis NTU Modem is able to achieve longer distance at same data rate or higher date rate at same distance in contrast to conventional G.SHDSL device (TCPAM16).
The SHDSL.bis NTU can be configured and managed via EOC, or menu-driven VT100 compatible Asynchronous Terminal Interface, either locally or remotely. The SHDSL.bis NTU provides the capability to identify the maximum line rate supported by the copper loop. This powerful automatic configuration capability makes installation and service provisioning simple and painless. Furthermore it provides flexible manually setting of the maximum NTU speed at different levels for different customer-tailored service offerings.
